The EMVZ-03 wheel stopper has been developed for locations on marshalling yards and railway sidings where the track operator regularly secures the track with a wheel stopper. Its advantages are speed and the elimination of the presence of the operator at the site, photo gallery.
The device is fixed to the rail and is operated remotely from the control room or from a control box at the track.

The wheel stopper can be connected to an automatic control system or be operated by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE buttons.
The status is indicated by coloured signals.
The installation of the stopper does not require special modifications or construction work. The mechanism is fixed to the left or right rail from below between two sleepers by means of modified base plates.
The power and control cables are led to the stopper body via a trench along the track or via overhead lines.

The shape and characteristics of the wagon stopper itself, model 87, placed on the rail correspond to the SŽDC Instructions of 27 January 2016.
The stopper is transported to the track from the outside of the track by means of a lever on which it is inserted in the groove. In the event of the wagons running off and the stopper coming into contact with the wheelset, the force of the wagon will cause the stopper to be removed from the groove on the lever and braked against the rail. To reuse the stopper, it must be retracted onto the lever
