The rope shunting devices are devices with closed rope circuit, which are firmly installed in the trackages of the sidings owned by the industrial companies. They serve for handling rail wagons during loading and unloading of raw materials and goods. To catch the wagons, there is available one of three traveling mechanisms according to local conditions - LTV-PV, LTV-NV, PZ 15 a PZ 15 DUO.
Operation of rope shunting devices is executed from a local box placed next to the track, from the control panel in the control room or using the remote control.
If required, some of the devices can operate in an automated regime using the set of sensors and adjusted control system.
The cable shunting devices use electric motor having the output of 7,5 – 30 kW.
The whole technology of shunting device can be designed as well as implemented in the explosive environment.
