A contract for the supply and installation of the PZ 15 DUO shunting device was signed with Italmatch Polska Sp. z o.o. in Chorzów, Poland. This plant serves as a logistics and storage base for yellow phosphorus for the Italmatch group. The PZ 15 DUO device will be used for shunting wagons on two parallel tracks.
In early 2025, design work and implementation of the LTV-NV rope shunting device at the Mělník Power Plant began. The device will be designed to shunting wagons when loading fly ash transported by conveyors from a remote landfill. Fly ash generated by the combustion of brown coal has undergone many tests, which have proven that the waste material stored for decades in a landfill is promising for its further use.
We have started the implementation of 2 rope shunting devices LTV-PV as part of the OLEFIN III investment project at the Polish ORLEN S.A. refinery in Płock. These devices will work on the tracks when pumping ethylene and butadiene into railway tanks. We have already implemented them repeatedly in this largest Polish company, which indicates the investor's satisfaction with our products.
At the end of 2024, we completed the delivery of an automatic wheel stoppers system on the test track of the newly built ZPR-R5 Annopol tram depot in Warsaw. We originally developed the EMVZ-03 Electromechanical Rail Wheel Stopper for braking wagons on railway sidings. In this case, we successfully solved the task of braking trams in automatic mode, when the stopper is placed only after the 1st tram chassis based on its speed measured by inductive sensors.
As part of the event "ETB storage in the Paramo Pardubice area", as a replacement for the old, no longer satisfactory shunting equipment, we have started the implementation of a new one, designed for unloading and loading of raw materials. PARAMO a.s. is a producer of process oils, asphalts and asphalt products. The company also purchases and processes oil hydrogenates and hydrocrackates of the parent company ORLEN Unipetrol RPA.
The implementation of the shunting device is part of the construction project entitled "Modernization of the "Brno-sever" source for the thermal energy supply system of the city of Brno", which the client OHLA ŽS, together with ŠKODA PRAHA a.s., is carrying out for Teplárny Brno, a.s. When building a new wood chip boiler, the LTV-PV device will shunt wagons to unload wood chips or to load the resulting fly ash.
