Driving railway vehicles

Drive railway locotractors and shunting locomotives - 2-axle - series 211, 3-axle - A 314, 4-axle - A 415 are designed for shifting and handling wagons on the sidings of industrial companies.

Construction

Chassis of already proven locomotives are used as the basis of the construction to speed up and reduce the cost of the approval process of new types and the design phase. The chassis frame with wheelset, bumpers and couplings, brake system and descending gearboxes undergo a complete overhaul and modification for new use. Everything else, ie engine with gearbox, batteries, air system, electrical equipment, cabin with control panels, control system, hoods with lighting and other elements are new.

Drive

2 types of drive: electric from traction batteries and diesel-electric. An asynchronous electric motor is always used for the drive. For traction batteries, energy recovery is used when braking the set.

Service

Traction rail vehicles are manufactured in versions without a cab or with a cab for the operator.

Rail locotractors without a cab are always controlled by a remote radio set, where the operator stands in a clear place in the track or on the gallery of the vehicle. It does not require a driver to operate it, but only trained persons with pusher authority. Their operation is limited to a closed company siding circuit.

Shunting locomotives have an operator's cab with control panels in both directions, driver's license is required for driving. A remote control for unattended control in the cab is also available on request.
